The perfect Metal album in my opinion is:
    Megadeth - "Rust In Peace."

    __________________________________________________

This album's so good & heavy too that many have also called/considered it Metal:
    Alice In Chains - "Facelift."

There's so many more that I have but those 2 in particular stand out as Hard Rock/Metal perfection indeed!

Everything highlighted there isn't that bad while the rest is just average @ best. I actually own "Meddle" too & would probably put it up there as the bands best, most "underrated" album although I probably shouldn't even consider "Meddle" as good as average, ya know? Listen up & dig a little deeper (perhaps even into more genres too?) & maybe then you'd be able to come up with a decent list eventually, ya see? Boy oh boy, I'm really getting sick of people trying to claim to know so much about music yet can't/don't even listen to anything beyond average, redundant Rock of the past...lol. You must know so much there, huh? Movin' on...

Just a few more that came to mind...

Bonnie Raitt - "Give It Up."
    Bryan Adams - "Reckless."
    Dolly Parton - "Jolene."
Elton John - "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road."
Judas Priest - "Point Of Entry."
Led Zeppelin - "Houses Of The Holy."
    Michael Jackson - "Bad."
Stevie Ray Vaughan - "Live Alive."
    Ted Nugent - "Ted Nugent."
    W.A.S.P. - "W.A.S.P."

A little bit of the "light" combined with some of the "fright"...lol.

What's the problem? I like what I like while others are allowed to like whatever they do. We all have our own opinions, beliefs, likes & influences, so nobody should feel threatened by my criticism of their lesser variety in musical genres, ya know? No worries by me here...lol. To each his own after all.;)

Back in the `60s I played that LP so many times I started to be able to hear the other side playing backwards behind the music.
