Been looking at Princetons for sometime, got a good deal on a like new, barely used one.

    I think I'm in love...

Now I need to rent a practice space where I can turn this thing up. Roommates.

Sweet! I bet it sounds great.
I wanted the Knotty Pine one with the Celestion Creamback. They sold out completely

    Congrats.
It looks like the Bordeaux edition with the wheat grill clothe. If so, I just got the same amp.
I find it has a little more headroom and is less loud than the standard PRRI with 10" speaker.
    I like it a lot.
    Enjoy yours.

Yep, that's the one. Less loud is good for me! Wouldn't mind a little earlier breakup but the tone on this one is very satisfying to me. Beginning to see why people have more than one amp. Haha.

No fair posting a beautiful amp photo like that without a sound clip.
Until you add one, here's a substitute we can listen to while we read.

Just felt compelled to check back in to say the honeymoon is not over!

Have gotten to use my LTD Edition '65 Princeton Reverb a bit more.

Haven't totally rocked it or anything out of courtesy to the neighbors—no more than 4.5 to 5 on the volume usually.

But I am very fond of this amp...even straight in, no pedals. I had no idea I even wanted or needed Tremolo, but I love it.

Since it's just starting to break-up at those volume levels I've been using just my Maxon OD-9 (Analogman Silver Mod) for some dirt which sounds wonderful.

    52 AVRI + Princeton Reverb = Heaven.

I need nothing more. So why the hell do I still look at other amps I ask?
