So this came after a lllloooonnnnggggg week and a half wait. I know you know what I’m talking about. A Fender Princeton Reverb RI Sweetwater FSR in tweed, 15 watts, 12” Cannabis Rex speaker. It sounds soooooo good. It’s been nearly 10 years since I’ve actually owned a tube amp.

I got the Bordeaux model 12" Princeton, the one that GC carries. Comes with a Jensen, but I put a CRex in it. Very happy.

If I were in the market for another amp that'd be the one I'd get...

    Congrats!

Princeton is my favorite amp sound---but I gotta know, with a 12" speaker--does it get farty with higher volumes?

Heck no! It sounds soooooo good above 6. From 7-10, it’s still pretty clean. In fact, I was surprised at how clean it was up to 10. It’s not 100% clean, but only just a little gritty, but no, not fatty at all. Well, I should probably say I do run my bass on 3-5, so not very bassy.
