I finally have me an amp! I know, there are many like it, but this one is mine.
Congrats man, I've heard nothing but good things from these lil monsters!
It's just like mine! Have fun.
Light, loud and great tone. Congrats!
Congrats, hope you enjoy the new amp!
I REALLY don't need ANOTHER amp. But these things are just sooo tempting and cheap too. Congratulations man. Happy Tones to you, Sir!
Congrats, love my 100w 1x12...
Welcome to the club ... I think that you will enjoy it
Great amp! Please enjoy!
Congrats! I love mine - great little combo.
I picked up one of these guys used. My HRD was a little heavy to be lugging around. All I can say is, great little amp -- you've done well. Definitely loud enough for my band and sounds good. I do find, however, it to be a bit on the dark side. Even with a tele, I had to max the treble for the sound to fit my ear. Does anyone know if you can address this in the "deeper" settings via USB?
It's nice to hear that somebody else has a dark sounding Katana, mine is and I like it, most complain that theirs is too bright. They (or our ears) obviously vary.
Grab the Katana FxFloorBoard Editor and play with the EQ (graphic or parametric) and signal chain. It's much more flexible than the Tone Studio from Boss.
Thanks for the link/info... I'll be honest - I haven't even messed with the Tone Studio. I've kept it minimal, setting a clean and crunch channel I like just using what's on board, with minimal effects on both channels. The other stuff would be cool to explore, but I'd be fine gigging it as is right now.
Me too, I've played with Tone Studio, Sneaky Amps and the Floorboard, but at the end of the day I do a factory reset and just dial in what I like. I just wish this thing was available when I was still gigging.
