An Original Song I wrote specifically for the Washburn Forrest Lee Jr. Acoustic B Bender guitar. Ben Sesar of Brad Paisley's "Drama Kings" on Drums, Jeff Allen w/Forrest Lee Jr. (engineering) on Bass.

    That does it....

    Kevin:

First off, I loved the piece and, nice presentation.

But you have just shoved me "off the fence".

I've been toying with the idea of getting a bender installed in my Breedlove, but just couldn't commit to risking losing the tone of that guitar by altering it any at all.

If this is any indication of the FUN I'm gonna have, I'm all in now.

The tone on that guitar reminds me of my Breedlove.

You made it look so easy. You're a class act.

    WOW !!!!

Thanks all - I specifically want to address the comment by Ben Jammin' - the bender did not add that much weight to the guitar and I don't think it affected the tone at all. MAYBE it even made it a little better with that metal plate underneath the bridge...that much extra contact could even be helping transfer more vibration to to the top - just speculation, but I WILL TELL YOU - acoustic guitar just got fun for me again - I have been stuck in a rut for too many years with my old licks. This FLJr. Wahsburn has brought the acoustic back for me. I have not played my Tele since November. (But I will get back to it). And woe to my old Martin D-28. Gonna be hard to pick that baby up again.

    Thanks for the comeback, Kevin.

I hate to admit it, but I'd rather play a good accoustic than any tele I've got.
There is just something about the tone of a good sounding accoustic.

When I bought my Breedlove, I'd turned down several Martin's, Taylor's and Alvarez's. Never found a Takamine that I cared for....

Not one of them even came close to the Breedlove for that tone I had in my head.

Anyway, now that I am reassured that the two can be successfully paired, I'm pullin' out all the stops.

    A B-Bender in a Breedlove.....Coming up.

    WOW !!

Ben - I will be interested to know the how and when of when you make the move. There are very few people that can do this kind of work - You truly love your Breedlove so make sure it ends up in the hands of the right person!!!! But I applaud you on your decision. Try to get it to someone who can get it back to you in fairly short order!

    Oh, don't worry.

Don't confuse my excitement with the rush to get this thing done.

As I said, I have been thinking about this for sometime already.

It will only go to someone who can assure me that the end result will be beneficial for both of us.

And installing a bender in an accoustic is not a feat that just anyone can do.

Definately going to require more research, but the decision to go forward with this has been made.

I have a vendor in mind, but will contact others as well before making any commitment.

Your experience just put the exclamation point on this project for me.

It can be done with a positive outcome. Thanks

    Bender in your acoustic

If you want to bounce (not bend) any ideas off me, just PM me. I do have some experience with some of the guys out there.

I can't get over the production value of this video. WOW.

The bender is super cool. I remember a few years ago, there was a fellow who used an acoustic bender, but it was tied to a string and a foot pedal. This is way better. Was there a specific reason to use the Washburn?

Colt - yes. the reason? It is the only one being made! this is the first production acoustic B Bender ever. Outside of this product there are none to be had unless one of the very few makers in the world agrees to do one. It's way more difficult to make an acoustic bender than a Tele bender.

Colt - Nope! Now we can all have one without having to put a second mortgage on the house. Contact Forrest for a fantastic deal and a Forrest Pro setup before it ships.
