Although I'm not buildin' a cool replica like some I seen here, I did want pay a little hommage to the man that inspires a lot of us here.

After some checkin', I decided to M.K. Holloway Custom Leather of Dallas make me a copy of his famous (infamous?) pickguard from Born to Run.

I think this will look very cool on my natural AM. Standard.

Alot of people on this forum are making these...each one is amazing. How much did this set you back? Is it sealed with anything?

    65 bucks.

Sealed, not sure. It is backed, however.

Looks great. The sky color really pops.

Glad to see my little contribution making the rounds.

M.K. Holloway did a really nice job for you.

Definitely a very cool combo.

    Congrats on a great job!

Love to see pic of it on your Tele.

    Wow.
    Nice one.
It's much cleaner than the others I've seen. (Including my own... But I've cleaned it up a lot now.)
It's got a very pale colour scheme - Much like BigKahune's original printed one.
Personally, I like the colour with a bit more punch (Lots of pictures of the original and the colour schemes attempted by me and BigKahune over here). But it looks good all the same - and well worth it at $65.

I'd like to see pics of it on a natural body ;).
I like the pic I took of mine against the unfinished body I intend to use for my project. It makes me consider not colouring it BSB at all .

Do you have any idea what was used to seal it?
And by "backed", do you mean with copper shielding?

Pretty decent little amp for the money.
