    Hi Fellas
After having a few health scares I decided to learn guitar at the age of 47 and decided on building a guitar to learn on
Although I am still learning chords (it is more chalenging than I thought)lol
    I have completed my Guitar
I liked the telecaster and wwas thinking wether to buy a ready made Telecaster or construct and opted to construct one with a little bit of help from some luthiers and E Bay
the body is based on a thineline with a flamed maple top built by Carlton Guitars of victoria australia
    Gotoh modern bridge
Warmoth neck with a clapton profile and jumbo frets
Tonepro kluson style vintage tuners purchashed from HD Custom Guitars in ashland USA (fantastic service)
The Pickups were made by Brierley pick ups in South Australia
Nitro finish from Jeff Highland and he assisted me in putting it together
    I hope you like it
    Greg

That looks like a very nice guitar. My only negative comment is that the headstock color clashes with the body color.

Thanks for all the great comments
with the head and neck unfortunatley that was the only one on ebay
but for $200 aus on ebay it was in my budget
I thought the body would of come out a bit darker but the mick brierley pick ups make up for it and they sound so bluesey when a musican freind plays it
If my fingers could learn chords a bit quicker It would sound really good but that only comes with practice :D

It's kinda funny what is difficult from person to person. My youngest son is a bass player (I know, where did I go wrong ) and he can play arpeggios and single-string lines and scales like nobody's business, but get him on chords and he is lost , so I try to teach him, and try to have him teach me. We each easily do what it difficult for the other

    No worries mate! :)
