Its just with Vlad he is here now, but could disappear and not be seen again for months ..........so strike while the iron is hot and pick his obvious superior engineering brain.

Speaking about pin routers Matt...............don't you think its about time you made the leap into the wonderful world of "pin routing" C'mon...................you know you want to.............you know you should.............repeat after me.............'I will start building my pin router tomorrow"...........'I will start building my pin router tomorrow"

Go on you know you should ...............time to join the real world Matt! :D

I think I am building the most expensive pin router here, I mean .....if....my CNC won't work,I can make it a pin router...right?

    Yes, Dave!
I have never worked with CNC. I would like the CNC to do everything for me, without my participation))). But, I think this is my misconception. With CNC has its own problems...
But, I agree with you Dave, it's very exciting and fun!
Here is shown a bit dia 1.5 mm. Previously, for cutting a flatwork, I used bit dia 1 mm.

Yes Dave, I used a drill chuck!
Here is how I applied the drill chuck:
    http://www.tdpri.com/threads/wood-a...ne-…my-experiment.592471/page-34#post-7281152

I use an easy method. I clamp the lath of wood.. I make a hole by bit. I insert a pin and fixing a drill chuck:
    http://www.tdpri.com/threads/wood-a...ne-…my-experiment.592471/page-34#post-7282504
For wood 2 mm (bit dia 3mm), for plastic I take 0.5 -0.7 mm (bit dia 1.5 mm).
The feed mechanism allows me to dose the depth slowly.

Here is small addition to the Pin Router, of which I spoke:

Also I made a adaptation/jig for drilling holes in a flatwork:

What a conundrum - which came first, the pin router or the button pin?

Matt just think ...........with all the money you save using the pin router you could pay someone to actually use it for you in your guitar manufacturing mega-factory while you just roam the planet in your luxury yacht. (made of course one afternoon on your pin router.)

Just like Dave does. Except he’s never roamed over to visit me. I’m beginning to wonder about the luxury yacht. Or maybe I should change me deodorant.

Actually Rick I did call in on you a while back in my Bell ranger. Love having friends with small acreage and plenty of space to put down and off the road a bit to keep the sight-seers away. I rang the door bell but nobody home apparently. Any fish in the pond out back, and what is it about your area.............every house has a blue/gray roof .......every house!!! Is that a building stipulation there???

Do you want, now I'll make fun you up?...I drove to my mom and looked into my old bag.
    And I found this:
    20180419_220528.jpg 20180419_220528a.jpg 20180419_220604.jpg 20180419_220613.jpg 20180419_220620.jpg 20180419_220635.jpg 20180419_220645.jpg

This Floyd Rose I made from the photos of guitars Charvel and Kramer. This was done in 1986-1987 ... This is from unfinished tremolo ... ...
