    Very nice project! Is there a reason why you clamped the nut in the mandrel rather than welded it in? And what pitch is the nut?

    I wanted to save the nut, in case of miscalculation in project (or unforeseen adjustments). Nut: dia 10mm X pitch 2 mm.
