aaight.... Thing started when I got my CS strat, great guitar, amazing really. Then I felt I needed an amp that´d do justice to my babe. I already had a Hiwatt, but it wasn´t enough I thought... So I started researching and the Tweed Deluxe was the one that shone the brightest of them all... plus Neil Young has been one of my all time guitar heroes. A no brainer really.

Went to the fender store to try a Deluxe RI but thought it didnt quite meet my expectations.... and it was also way too expensive for the average quality of components and manufacture that it featured (I started playing with the idea of building amplifiers when I saw the circuit of a bassman LTD, but that´s another story). So... long story short I decided to build me one with the best components I could find (no budget limit) and this happened:

Cool! Glad you are digging it. Sounds great! I LOVE mine as well.

I was leery about the idea of building my own amp, but with help from what I read around here I dove in and it turned out great. It's become my gigging amp for any smaller room with my trio. Going on 4 years without a problem.

Nice! I have my first build, a Trinity TC15 waiting to be finished sitting on my bench. I hope that I get as good of results as you have when I finally finish it!

I think it sounds great. I would like to hear it with straight guitar and amp. Nice demo.

This only has a quite transparent delay... not even a looper. It´s just me the strat the delay and the amp :)

    Thanks tho

That's some really good playing, and really cool sounds.

    Thank you!

...you mean the song's name? It is just an improvisation, i was playing around. But maybe I might have taken a little inspiration from Pink Floyd and Miles Davis's record the Jack Johnson Sessions, probably ;)

    Glad you liked it!
    Cheers.

Just wanted to say I enjoyed your sound clip. Don't know where your coming from on your styling but it's just different enough to be very interesting. I also liked you use of delay. Very full sound for just one guitar jam.

Can tell you excited about your amp, it's contagious.

And Wow! You made that amp? It looks fantastic! Very nice and clean.

OK, I hear the difference now, but when I listened to your clip, there was one and only song that it made me think of, they are different but stylistically there are a lot of the same elements. To be clear, jump into the fire is by Harry Nilsson, 1974.

You and your amp sound great. It would be a much better world if everyone had to build a 5e3 to graduate from high school.

@The Guy, your amps, and playing sound great man. I picked up a 5e3 in a trade last year and was blown away by how good it sounded and how much you begin playing the amp as well as the guitar when it's that touch responsive.

Try turning the volume on the channel you AREN'T playing all the way up to 10 or 11. It works as an overall volume cut. I do this all the time at small bar gigs when I want it a little hairy.
