Stupid kids. You're supposed to shoot the piano player.

Googled him. He was a singer.

Good thing he wasn't a Tele player. Still, sad story.

Yeah, there’s nothing humorous or funny about this at all. Making jokes is in very poor taste.

This is a sad story all around. The suspects are 12 to 16 (a 12-year-old girl!!!), found with a stolen gun. That's a lot of lives being messed up, not just the victim.

Seems like the lives of the non-murder victim must've been "messed up" for quite a while. This kinda thing isn't just "a bad decision" -one-time "oops". Lotta kids aren't getting the guidance and the understanding of consequences that they should have.
It was, however, particularly nice to see the guns mentioned in the article actually described as stolen. So often, in crime reporting, such details are overlooked. As if the ingredients to the crime all had a mind of their own, or just appeared at the site of an evil deed by magic. Nope. In this case these "kids" already were in illegal possession of deadly weapons. Alcohol and/or drugs are often involved in such misguided events as well.
It's seems like a sad statement on many levels, and a pointless loss of a young man's life.

Reading about this event was depressing enough. Then came some of the comments - more depressing. I'm going to get ready for my gig tonight and try to forget I was even on here today. Maybe I just need to stay away for awhile.

Gun crimes, homicides committed by 12 year olds, school shootings, mass murders every year in the US. Man, what's up with that??

And they feed these kids all these shot em up games, I just don't get it??
Every game my Nephews have are racing, brain games skill games, my Sister won't let them play those killing games, and proud of her for doing that! There is way too much violence out there, no need to exacerbate it!!

Video games aren't the problem. If they were, we'd see an awful lot more of this kind of thing than we already are seeing. "Violent" computer/video games are just the new scapegoat, it used to be heavy metal music...

True. They play just as much, if not more, video games in Japan and S. Korea.
