    Hey, all.

I'm realizing that I need to organize the music room(s) before I'll have time to build multi-guitar stands. So any particular recommendations? This would be for the house, not stage, so even something as big/unwieldy as a 5-guitar stand would be useful to hear about.

    Thanks.

Buy a cheap 7-guitar stand on ebay. Even if you don't have 7 guitars (yet), it allows you to have a bit more space between the guitars you do have. And acoustics take up more space. Just means you don't have to be so careful pulling a guitar off the rack or putting it back.

I've had a Proline 5 guitar stand for about 15 years and it's still in good shape - been hauled to gigs, road trips. Stays mostly at home now, but has always worked well. Price has gone up about 20 bucks though.

I second the Hercules. I have the 5 guitar model in my studio that pretty easily fits 5 and a case.

Gotta get one of THOSE! :D Not only does it conserve space by providing storage for guitars and cases alike, but, in my case, it also justifies buying more guitars!

I have one of the suitcase style ones distributed by Stagg. It takes up to six guitars. It will hold all our guitars/basses at a gig taking up less stage space than individual stands. I did have to repair the top panel once after the drummer's girlfriend decided to sit on it?

This gentleman has the proper (and correct) attitude.

Well played, sir. Well played indeed.

    Yup.
    That's just what I did.
Not the best, but good enough for now.
    Peace - Deeve
