    Hello!
Just wrapped up this build and wanted to share. A 3/4(ish) scale Telemaster for my 8 year old. He chose the colours scheme and wanted a painted headstock to match. Took a bit of digging to find decent red bindings, they were a bigger pain than I expected to install as they were about half as thick as the bindings I used previously.

Didn't document too much of the building process this time but have some progress photo's to share for kicks:

There is some sparkle in the red of the logo....have to hold it at juuuuust the right angle though.... IMG_4047.jpg IMG_3962.jpg IMG_3963.jpg IMG_3990.jpg IMG_0028.jpg IMG_0032.jpg

Action shot to show the scale. I'll post some side by sides with my full sized Telemaster soon, some minor dismantling needed to happen during the building of this one, so its waiting on a re-string. ;)

Cute! When I have children I'm going to build a mini version of my favourite guitar for my first born.

 I think I am a little too.

Great job, that's a sweet looking guitar. Wish my dad done something similar when I was 8 years old. He built his own lap steel guitars, but they weren't cool enough for me.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, much appreciated!

One thing I forgot to mention...I made the body 1.5" thick instead of the typical 1.75". Helped to reduce the weight a bit. I did have to route out a slightly deeper control cavity under the switch area to fit it, but that was really the only complication in having a thinner body. IMG_3937.jpg

Awesome! Man, I wish I could build guitars. I'm so jealous of all you talented woodworkers out there!
