Just got my copy 3 x LP Red Vinyl.

    From the liner notes:

And so, after 77 performances to over a half million people around the world, this is where The Great Circle Tour would finally come to a close. Two hometown shows in this special place. The first date? November 11. Known to some as Armistice Day.

Seriously, this performance is a great guitar band at their absolute best. A tour de force.

I kind of miss PG's spastic dancing.

There needs to be an all Aussie bands festival to tour the States/world. I could pick a good amount of my own but then natives would point out so many more I'd missed/weren't aware of.

Midnight Oil would be one for sure, for me.

I remember their Red Sails in the Sunset show in Lake Maquarie was totally outstanding. They even put everything into their pub gigs I've been to. Definitely get your value for money.

Great stuff. Mogine and Rotsey don't get the credit they deserve for being a guitar duo to be reckoned with.

    Indeed. They weave well too.

Both are able to self-effacingly serve the song when needed, or go out for some hot licks.

Whichever of them uses a Whammy pedal (or whatever kind of pitch shifter they have) is the only person I've ever heard use one in a way that didn't make me want to go find them and smash it with a sledgehammer. They can both play seriously creative, ambient parts or rock the hell out with equal aplomb. Why they're not on the cover of every guitar magazine is a mystery.

I did see him a few times - never talked to him though. I used to body surf at Harbord Beach. He used to swim from Manly to Harbord Beach. Never tried that myself - I had somewhat of an aversion to sharks that may be patrolling the headland for tasty morsels.
