I just got a Korean dearmond M75, and one of the old pots is loose and can't be tightened as the threads are worn.
I'd imagine the old pots are metric so what I want to know is, if I replace them with CTS pots will the original knobs still fit the slit shaft, or would i be better off going for an alpha pot which is metric.
I know I may have to enlarge the holes in the body slightly.

The metric shafts are a little smaller than the imperial ones, so the knobs won't fit, unless...

It's pretty easy to take a pair pliers and squash the halves of the split shaft together, and then the knobs will fit. It's not an elegant solution, but it works.

Or, you could just install the alpha pots because you *will* have enlarge the holes in the body for imperial pots.

Unless your wanting to change knobs, I'd say that its much better to not fight it and go with the Alpha pots.
