It's harder to point the finger of blame at two than it is at one ;)

Great selection guys, good tracks. Should be fun.

Mark - can't help but hear some Santana in there - but you had many other things working well. Enjoyed it.

Like these a lot. Thanks to both of you. Had a ton to do for work so I couldn't do much at the end of February, but hopefully more time this month.

Back after it. Sort. of. Here's the first week track. Pay no attention to the few spots where I've struck an open string by accident…yes, perfection is a journey, not a destination, blah, blah, blah. Still fun trying to figure out how to approach this. the squier CV, garageband, BFSR emulation stuff. Ran two guitar tracks, because, hey, buffalo fingers! Still learning at 62. Cheers, mates!

My attempt. I call it "In Hiding" after my absence for most of February. Used my HSS Strat into my SC X2 modeled as a 57 Deluxe with a little (?) reverb. Way back in the mix I added my J-200 for a little acoustic. The lead lines are maybe a bit too up front. Had fun and may try this some more. I cloned the backing track and panned it at 20 L/R and them did the same at 60 L/R and pulled it back.

Any comments critiques appreciated as always.

I think the rhythm section is too far back. Otherwise a nice mellow take.

Mark - Have to agree with the rest on your Santana channeling. Liked it very much.
TTX - Loved the intro to the track. Nice pick work going on. We are all still learning I hope. I faded out too but for me I ended badly and I covered it up that way.:)

Well played Bill!Nice lines and warm tones . This track would be a nice fit for easy listening elevator music :D

Nicely played John , nice and mellow and for the mix can be difficult to master in regards of converting your track in to mp3 file can alter the mix, it always gets me even I 'm aware of it before hand ...Doh!!!:D
