But it's a Tele so it didn't even go out of tune.

And yes, I need a new rack. Anyone try these guitarfetish racks, or similar?

when I did the set up for Toby Keith the Guitar tech Sammy Bones used one to set up and tune the guitars and he swore by it but he had a latch at the top of the rack to hold each guitar in place , when we tore down he just folded up the rack and placed into the road case with the guitars , smooth ,easy , and consice

Glad your soldier was not maimed

Frankenstein on a bolt neck. What you did there, I saw it.

Believer in hard cases here. Less dust moisture oxidation impact

Reminds me of a note at my cobbler's: shoes worth wearing are shoes worth repairing

Switch those words for guitars/playing/hard case

When I name my guitars, I find a sticker that matches and put it on the back (or if I find a sticker I like, that's what I name the guitar). That one is Frank.

I like the wall hangers the sort of close around the front of the neck when the guitar is on there (it opens when you lift the guitar). It's out, meaning I see it more and am therefore more likely to play it. It's off the floor, so it's out of the way, doesn't take up much space and won't fall over. And the guitar looks good on the wall when I'm not playing.

So long as the hanger is securely mounted, it's the best option for me.

I do like hard cases for transport, though.

I've always fancied one of these but, I just don't have space for it.

It's a dilemma... I like my guitars out, so I can just grab one on a whim and play any one of them, but I don't like the dust accumulation on the ones I'm not currently playing. Currently I use hercules stands. I like the concept of hanging them on the wall, because they look cool that way as decor, but logically, I keep thinking, hmm, if there's an earthquake, do I really want my guitars suspended several feet above the floor? It's like I'd be setting them up to inflict max damage.

I had one of those and they function OK. I quit using it as I pared my guitars down to a few.

I have a bass and an acoustic that stay on stands but I slip a plastic trash bag over these.
The rest are in a 6 rack in gig bags or shelved in cases except one currently in use which is a
    week or two then rotation.

I've taken to just kicking the damn things out of the way, I can't even get to the couch anymore. They're breeding like rabbits.

Honestly I'd be more concerned about the floor because, you know, Telecasters...

I can help you with your problem by taking some of those off your hands... yes, I'm willing to selflessly take on that burden, that's just how I roll. :D

I'll take some. I do have that empty slot :D

I've always wanted a guitar that looked like the grille of an Edsel. That first one on the floor reminds me of it kinda.

You either need more pedals or a smaller board...

Got one of those racks, it's ok, nothing has ever fallen out of it. Plan to use mine for my World Tour as it folds up nice and is not too heavy which is good because my roadie is not very strong.
