Yes, absolutely. Once I actually read the article it made sense, admittedly I habitually only read headlines of articles.

My intentions are solely the cheer of the season & not deviant bait...I had never hoped it would deviate to this

Why did you start this thread if you thought it would get shut down?

That’s a mistake. Headlines are very often missleading, exactly like this one.

I think it is wrong to tell other people’s children that Santa doesn’t exist. I mean, that’s how you figure out how smart your kids are, by how long it takes them to figure it out!

Don’t just give them the answer to the quiz!

You're right, especially in this day and age of outrageous headlines for the sole purpose of clickbait.

It’s almost like feeding another person’s (non-starving), dog, without their consent

They guy was arrested for trespassing, not what he said.

The comments by the mayor and other dipsticks after the fact are not useful, he should have said that people have to respect the property rights of others and leave when commanded or face the consequences.

Hahaha would love to have a good religion talk, I have been initiated into the Freemasons who are the builders of the Catholic church and study the occult, I can tell you now, in the same way the Catholic church has a pagan Egyptian obelisk in st Peter's square it would also love to have the attention of Christmas on Santa rather than Jesus.

You see guys, most of us are westerners, this western world we live in and it's pagan festivities was designed by the Catholic church, the church and the state were once almost the same entity, you can see Catholic symbolism at parliament house etc, some of which is actually Egyptian, here we are in the west and you have Egyptian symbols on parliament house and all sorts of stately buildings, it comes from the Catholic traditions designed by Freemasonry which is an extension of Mesopotamian paganism.

And as for this clickbait, the guy was arrested for trespassing, big deal.

Trespassing is just the charge. He was arrested for being a jerk and ruining the experience for several people. The kids will grow up soon enough.
Although he is correct with his assertions, people like this are disgusting to me.

YeAh, but come on - most people everywhere, especially in Texas, are guilty of something.

Lock ‘em up now /sort ‘em out later !

Maybe because after Jesus forgave our greed, Santa came along and led us into temptation?

If the man was on a sidewalk rather than the actual property of this church, the charges will be dropped. Sidewalks are public thoroughfares. If he was on their actual property, he should have stepped onto publc property.
Now, in this day and age .....especially in Texas...you might not want to expose the fact that the model for Santa...St. Nicholaus, was not a Western European but rather was an actual real-life Turkish man who became a benevolent philanthropist when three young women’s family could not afford a dowry for marriage. In order to save them a life of prostitution, St. Nicholaus dropped bags of gold off secretly in the night to free them from that dire prospect. After that first gift, he became gift giver to many.....all of them from less fortune lives than his own.
    What???? Santa was a Turk????

As for a situation where telling a lie and pretending that it is a truth is presented to them, many Texans love to believe actual fake facts even when the contradictory proof can be readily ascertained. As for me, I was taught about St. Nicklaus in public school here in....Texas. I am sure that has been removed from the books by now.
