Thanks! What's the best way to mill the neck pocket without a router?

I'm not the best one to answer this but I'll give my 2 cents. I used a drill, chisel, dremel tool, and sand paper cutting the neck pocket out on this. Not perfect but it plays. IMG_4717 (002).JPG image1 (003).JPG

Drill press, forstner bit, and chisel for clean up.

Oooooooo that's sweet! Ever consider Esquire style switching to get three distinct tones? I've always loved the look of a single pup guitar.

Hey Rob, details please. What can I expect with a P-90. What specs for pickup? How would you wire? Feel free to PM if you prefer.

Now back to your regularly scheduled thread.

    Hey Jim,
I personally like an A5 rod loaded bridge P90 wound to about 9200 with 42 AWG min build poly. If you want to wind one, let me know and I'll walk you through it.

I would be interested in winding my own pickup, do you have any resources you could point me to?

Just make sure your chisel is sharpened properly.

Lots of winding resources here. Where are you starting from?

IMG_20170831_120453223_HDR.jpg wet sanded with natural Danish oil and p320 random orbital. Looks kinda like rosewood now. I'm going to let it cure and then sand up to 2000 grit and wax it.
