Woah. That's pretty neat.
It's bee-u-t-ful! Everyone has their own preferences, but I love the U shape for necks! Congrats- hope you follow up with full report.
That's a gorgeous guitar. Fender Japan has a cool and alternate take on many models and this is a prime example.
Great score. Congrats!
You're killing me Smalls.
I feel the GAS returning...
Love it! Now I’m uber tempted to pick one up with the same deal...
I can't find it on the bay for $799.
There were a few for sale when I bought mine but you're right, now they appear to be gone.
Looking at the Completed Items on the bay for "offset Telecaster" from US sellers shows several listings for this guitar that ended today including mine (technically I bought mine yesterday but didn't complete the purchase until today).
Looks like the others that were @ $799 that ended without a sale were due to "listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available". So perhaps they sold in store and the sellers had to pull the listing.
Edit: Just received shipping confirmation and tracking info. I'm super stoked!
Congratulations, looks great
Finally found a YouTube video. The P-90 is silver instead of black but otherwise looks like the same guitar. Sounds pretty sweet, especially later on when he plays clean.
That thing is sharp man, I really dig it. Hope you do too.
See my avatar. Telemasters are for me, the perfect Tele-type. With typical Fender woods and Tele appointments, they sound exactly like a Tele but are sooooo much more comfy to play.
Plus they look incredibly cool.
Nice Tele !
Dude, I saw that too!
That checks off a bunch of boxes for me. Really, most of them. I am pretending not to want one whilst looking intently out the corner of my eye. Please post some follow up info once you get it in hand.
Yep, both of these are cheaper here too.
Darn! Cool guitar. Congrats!
well beyond anything that I had ever a imagined , tele or not, it's beautiful, oh and the askng price? are they available in the USA?
Wha? They are practically giving away their roundabouts in the States.
Yes; the one I played was in a little store in Shawnee, KS (I think it's considered Shawnee and not Lenexa where it's located). They are one of a few limited-run MIJs Fender has brought to our shores. They've got another run of the 12-string Strats that have been around off-and-on over the past 20-25 years or so, plus a run of somewhat '57 spec models that have "racing stripes" like a Competition Mustang in the finish, and they have pink paisley-blue flower Jazzmasters as well.
I was actually checking out offset guitars and seen that pink paisley Jazzmaster before I stumbled onto the offset Tele. The pink JM just looks awesome to me and I would love to have one. Unfortunately we cant have 'em all.
Dang. That is one sweet looking guitar! Congrats and enjoy.
