So I just pulled the trigger on one of these. Not much info or reviews but I think its really cool and hope she plays and sounds as good as she looks.

Here's a couple pics of the exact guitar I bought off the Bay. Used a promo code to get $100 off the $799 listed price plus had $3 eBay Bucks to use. So total cost was $696 w/free delivery. Says nothing about a case but I think/hope it includes a gigbag.

Funny thing is I committed to purchase last night but didn't actually complete the purchase (needed to sleep on it). Woke up today and seen there's a 15% off code (capped @ $100) for today only "PREGAME15" so glad I waited!

Would love to hear from anyone that has one of these or just your thoughts/comments in general.

Wear it out! It looks like it might sound like a Telecaster.

It spoke to me immediately...except the 'U' shaped neck. Still on the fence about that one...but find a use for that coupon!

Yep, how it plays is very important. Pickups and electronics can always be changed but the mahogany neck, not so much. I have only played "C" shaped neck profiles before and so I'm hoping it's still comfortable to play. It has a 10" radius rosewood fretboard and medium frets so I like that. Just a little unsure how a U shaped neck will feel.

Hopefully I'll adapt but if it's not comfy and easy to play then that would be a deal-breaker. Buying online is always a crap-shoot but I bought from a reputable seller though and they offer 30-day returns, so I took a shot and pulled the trigger.

There must be something that's cheaper on your side -- Bird's Custard?

I LOVE Telemasters, and that one is no exception. What a great guitar. I would play the crap out of that.

That’s a beautiful guitar. I hope it sounds a great as it looks. There was a pawnshop series guitar that very elusive called the Jaguarillo, I guess the didn’t make too many of them.

I just stumbled upon one today a a local mom & pop dealer - it's a really nice guitar, very well put togther. The gloss finish on the neck felt nice - not sticky like some nitro, but also not glopped-on feeling like the old-school 70s Fender poly either.

The neck is, well - fairly FAT, pretty similar to the AO 50s Tele neck. Most U-shaped necks are a total deal killer for me; they completely aggravate my RSI thumb injury - so I never plugged it in. That being said it was a fine playing, great feeling guitar that I really didn't want to hang back on the wall, but I know from working around this issue for the past 15-18 years that a 25.5" scale fat U neck won't cut it for me.

I understand the injury for sure. For myself, those necks are actually more comfortable once you get used to them. Other guitars start to feel odd after that.

Thanks guys for all the compliments and thanks to John C for his mini-review. I think I'm even more excited now. Just hope mines a player and not just a looker.

I don't usually buy guitars online anymore but doubt these are going to be available to try out at most guitar shops, so I guess for under seven Benjamin's it's worth taking a shot. And if I don't like it for some reason, the seller is in KY so shipping it back won't be too costly but I'm hopeful that won't be necessary.
