Angelo - would you PLEASE stop posting this!!?? I'm off to California and Alaska, and instead of enjoying my vacation and my new baby grand-daughter, I'm gonna be wishing I could get to London for the session. You're ruining me, man!
and you will miss my 60 years bday. just kiddin it's today
A belated happy 60th Kenn!
Hello there, I won't be able to make it this year,my back is giving me a lot of grief and although I am having treatment there's no guarantee that I will be match fit for the day.
I hope you all have a great time and all goes well.
Hi, never been to the TDPRI jam but very tempted if there's room. I have a potential late gig on the Saturday but if I'm not too knackered a meet with fellow forum members to play would be good.
I'm gigging in Leamington Spa on Saturday 30th and won't be home until the wee small hours of Sunday morning. But I'll still be there early enough to bag my usual spot in the corner of the room and grab some grub from around the corner of the street. At least what's left of me will...
Work denies me the opportunity to participate again this year.
I'm flying to Atlanta from Manchester next Sunday so will miss another gathering.
Have fun guys.
Sorry you can't make it again Peter! Bloody work!
Cheers, Peter. We'll miss you. I know ATL (Atlanta Hartsfield) pretty well, or at least I did until ten years ago. Don't know whether you've flown in there before, but it's a bit of a commute from the aircraft to the exit, including two baggage claims and security just to leave the airport. You may already know this. Enjoy your time there and I hope we'll see you on the next one.
Thanks Tony. Our USA office is in ATL so I know the airport.
I was only driving past it 10-days ago on my way from Orlando to Memphis (as you know from FB) but I didn't expect to be going back soon. I'm also visiting La Vegas (for business) at the beginning of November, so it's a pity about the $dollar £pound relationship as getting guitars, spares and parts is not as economically viable nowadays.
I did get an awesome deal on a Tele baritone neck in Orlando - and managed to dodge the hurricane.
Have a great day.
It occurred to me last night – do we know of a bass-player who's going to be in attendance? Last year I brought a bass, which IIRC was played at various times by me, Jon and Richard. But if someone else is doing the honours it'll be handy for me not to have to bring the additional instrument.
If you don't fancy bringing your bass Tony then I'm happy to chuck my Jazzer in the car.
Thanks, Richard. I'd appreciate that, as I'm thinking of bringing more than one guitar on the day as well as amp, FX, etc.
No problem, will do.
Sorry to hear that and all the best for your back, get well soon!
