I'm not even a fan of Metal music, but these kids wipe the floor with GVF, and make them look like a joke. That's my opinion, and I'm sticking with it.
I’d say as original as GVF, but these kids are pretty good and she has a rockin’ voice. Why they need the 1st grader on keyboards, I’m not sure...
They're all siblings. http://voyagela.com/interview/meet-...an-cristea-justin-cristea-liliac-band-downey/ Samuel Cristea, 19 years old, is the lead guitarist; Abigail Cristea, 18 years old, is the drummer, Melody Cristea, 16 years old, is the vocalist and bassist, Ethan Cristea, 11 years old, is the rhythm guitarist, Justin Cristea, 10 years old, is the keyboardist.
I m not sure i d call that sort of music metal. It s got a pop feel as well, which is a good thing, but is a bit different from cannibal corpse or slayer.
Old school hard rock, like Sabbath, Purple, maybe even Babe Ruth. They do a cover of Airplane's 'Somebody to Love too. Does that make them a psychedelic band? They're a novelty act, but an interesting one
I mean they ve got the pop edge of arch ennemy better than the gloominess of black sabbath. Agreed on the novelty act!
I'm a blues guy with a Heavy Metal past (what we called HM in the late 70's and 80's) i'll be sure to order a copy of the CD to help promote them. I wish I had got there faster to buy up some of the under 100 art, it will be worth a fortune some day. Seriously love to hear that kid sing some Janis Joplin. I'll bet she would kill it.
