"Lick Of The Day"

    A chordal lick written for piano, but I'm stealing it!

    You can omit the bass root notes, and since it's written for piano you should play it an octave higher, in the usual "guitar transpose". On the final chord, I like like to replace the inner C note with a B.

    This thread has been sleeping for a while so here a little bump with a transcription of Jimmy Bryant's solo on Little Rock Getaway that I posted in another thread.
    Many licks out of this, although as already discussed in that thread, this was a draft and you may want to find a better fingering for some of those passages

    I've been working on this. First part is not insanely difficult, but there's some 'spidery' stuff in there that might test your hybrid picking. Jimmy Olander is a brilliant player.
