Where is the power switch.?
Next to the jewel light.
Can't get enough of these two... Life is good...
My '58 5E3 with a new handle thanks to Bob over at Brookwood Leather.
I've been debating on weather to replace my handle ('57)... but for some reason, I love the look of this ugly thing...
Makes me smile every time I switch it on!
Beautiful amp! What year?
Here's my "tweed" with a Custom Shop '65 NOS Strat and a good ol Hammond M100.
The tweed is a 50 watt dual rectifier 5E3 clone. I run it into a 212 cab loaded with '56 Magnavox P12N's. (Identical to the Jensens.)
Not sure if you meant my amp, but its a month old. Needs some miles on it to compare with some of the beautiful old timers on this thread. Sounds absolutely killer!
My tweed is not Fender ... a '58 Gibson GA-40. Pale linen tweed, pretty much hanging off the sides. This amp has been everywhere, done it all, and sounds it:
She's a beauty, mad dog.
My new tweed cabinet for blues Jr
Finished today. 5G9.
I would guess you don't move it around much?
Very...very carefully...with two hands, and a puckered you-know-what...
She's pretty much a bedroom beauty.
This is my baby...And that is Levi on top of it. My first child and the only grandson out of four siblings. He's competing with 6 grand daughters. This was taken two weeks ago and one of the best pictures I've ever seen. Just wanted to share with you guys.
That is so cool!!
But based on my kids, that babe's been fed cough syrup, mine never once slept like that! But the're good kids now.
fenderdfs if i had that tele and twin amp id sleep like a baby too.
Yea he's been a really good baby. Sleeps alot which is a good thing. We got lucky. I should add that he pee'd in my wifes hands, which spilled on the tweed while trying to take the pic without the blanket. I've always been very picky about my stuff but for some reason when it was my own son peeing on the amp, i was ok with it Figure it adds to the tone!
Congrats on the Newbie... Now what will be his first peice of Grandpas equipment?
