Let's see your guitar (or guitar related) projects you've completed. My first guitar build is still being built, so nothing from me yet. I am just interested in seeing the creative or classic designs of you all.
And I still need ideas for my guitar, so don't be surprised if you see your style design on my guitar.

Your getting an earlier start on building guitars than I. Kudos and good luck.
I took up playing guitar at 45, and the following year decided I wanted to build one of my own. I had a fretted maple/walnut neck from Grizzly products and sourced parts online. As for the body,I got a Kirn template and started from a big blank of white spruce. IMG_3731.JPG
    It’s a fully contoured S shape, housing T type 4way switching and electronics. IMG_3794.JPG IMG_8444.JPG
I’ve since added a Warmoth Goncalo Alves/Pau Ferro Fatback neck and my own headstock design. IMG_8447.JPG

Building your own guitar is a very rewarding experience, and something to take pride in.

All the projects so far have been great! Steve Holt, that Monterey strat job is outstanding! Did you paint it yourself? The Tele strat is also very unique. You don't see a spruce guitar very often.

I finished the coral colored Telebird a few months ago and I'm almost done with the seafoam one. The finished one has a pure vintage 62 bridge pickup, Mojo UK humbucker sized goldfoil, a Rolling B Bender, and a Warmoth roasted maple/ pau ferro neck. 20953434_10213973166667126_275032664982975328_n.jpg

All I wanted to do was to darken a white-ish Tele MIM neck. Since it had a poly finish, I put on coats of Tru Oil first, then StewMac's amber nitro lacquer, then StewMac's clear lacquer to finish it off. Got impatient and made mistakes, but I'll deal with em later. After the neck cures, it's going on a beautiful butterscotch body. Head 3.JPG Head 3.JPG
