Gorgeous guitar. Never sell it!
...Well I read it all! Nice post.
Here are a couple of my Lester's....
Nice looking guitars, what are they?
The Gold Top is a Cozart, and the Les Paul is a Bulldog P90.
Fortunate to have some nice hang time with him. I spent the day and night taking him from event to event, hooked up by my friend that was AR with Gibson back when I was an artist with them. There I am, the arm that was set in place to play guitar after his car accident, latched to mine, leading him to meet Willy on the smokey bus, Darryl Hannah and Derek Trucks. What struck me was later, when I took this out of the case, he held it in front of him and said "Oh my, what a thing of beauty..." as if it was his 1st time seeing a Les Paul! Really moved me, seeing his genuine love for the instrument, music and life in general.
Got me a 2017 tribute T a few weeks ago in honeyburst
Here's some Les Paul's nothing old or valuable but I like them. Sorry about the SG she jumped in the picture while I wasn't looking.
Is this a Standard premium plus w/ the pull pots?
Am I allowed to post my Les Paul alternative?
I posted my actual LP a couple years ago, but I sold it last year, so I could get this. 2008 Collings City Limits Deluxe. Very, very much like a Les Paul, only better IMHO. Stock Lollar Imperials are very articulate, very balanced. I think they might be too much so for many LP players, but I like them, since I play mostly clean.
It's got a '59 neck, just right. And total weight is 8.0 lbs, not chambered.
Here's my 2008 R6 with it's slight cosmetic makeover.
My first LP, a 1968 gold top purchased in 1973 (I'm 16) looked like this.
It's first owner put black covers and poker chip on it.
Kinda has a Les Dudek vibe.
His was a 69, I think, bigger headstock.
I do digress, sorry.
I'm still trying to bond with it's P90s, they are Fralins, and are hum cancelling to in the middle position.
I like the neck pickup OK, I still don't like the bridge pickup.
Here's after & before shots.
I put the cart before the horse, Doh!
Practice rig 2017 Faded T and V55 bedroom practice amp
No, just a pretty Standard.
Here is my 1981 Aria Les Paul custom... I know it is not a Gibson but it feels, looks, plays just as good as a real Les Paul.
I still have the 2 on the right, my green 1996 Classic Premium Plus amd my MIJ Epiphone Goldtop both are keepers and fantastic players, I like 60's style necks. The Epiphone on the left was traded for a head.
Nice guitars...the one you traded has a unique top on it...it looks to be Birds Eye maple?
Very proud of this Crews Maniac KTR. Made in the Deviser factory (same as Bacchus) with Gibson burstbucker pro pickups and a very chunky 58 neck all nitro finish, sounds and plays better than anything else I own.
My junior from the universally hated 2015 line up. I love the huge flat neck personally. Though that creepy les paul hologram gives me nightmares.
Yeah it was not easy on the eyes in person, it was an older MIK Epiphone. Truth be told my favorite is the MIJ Goldtop. It has a big fat belly on it though.
Well here is my baby,a 2016 Les Paul Traditional, absolutely amazing guitar, the 57' classic humbuckers are my favorite pickups ever!!
