Here's a little secret, they have a bunch of ceiling fans with maple/alder/rosewood blades in that secret relic'ing room at the Fender Custom Shop.

    Keep up the good work!

Funny this is mentioned as I did the same thing the other day with the new LP I just picked up. The fan was spinning on high speed so I thought it would be much worse than it was. There are now 2 very small nicks in the headstock on the side which you wouldn't notice unless you were looking for them. They don't bother me...I'm more pissed at myself for doing it.

The first thing my uncle told me when I was a kid while showing me my first real guitar was, watch out for ceiling fans and don't put any loose screws or hardware in the case compartment because it will come out and scratch the piss out of your guitar.

    He's a wise man.

Don't feel bad, I actually stuffed my head into the ceiling fan a couple of months ago. That was unpleasant.

I've done that a few times. Always a sudden, jarring experience.

It looks like an Epi and the neck is alreadyscarfed where it broke so it shouldn't be too messy to repair. Might need to rebuild the joint for the tooth pick like pieces of wood that broke off.

He's lucky it wasn't his own head. That fan is buzzing.
