Depending on the P-90s I would lean towards the LP combination, lots of potential for sonic mayhem there.

I'm a Tele guy, but that LP looks like a lot of fun. That's a real nice setup there.

    Cool topic!

I've owned an FSR Tele, currently own a Tex Mex Strat, and have a thing for P90's.

I think I'd take the Strat. I would love any of them, but Tex Mex Strats typically get me to "my tone zone" more quickly than any other guitar. It's all about position 4 for rhythm and position 5 for lead. Use the bridge pickup with fuzz and position 2 with a wah for funk mayhem.

    The LP; I'm a sucker for P90s.

If I get to add one of your guitars to what I already currently own, I'd go with the Epi LP.

If I had no other guitars and had to choose one of yours, ( a no brainier, for me) it would be a Stratocaster- I just think they are the most versatile and ' ergonomic' guitar ever made. To quote Eric Clapton " They're comfy!"

I'd take the Tele. I have a 60th Anniversary Strat with Tex Mex Pickups. The Strat is out. I have a Gibson P90 Special LP so the Epi is out.

I think the pickups and mods on the Tele sound great. Vintage tuners sound great. You've done some great work on the guitar yet it looks stock. It's a beautiful guitar. You did some fine work on that guitar.

    Tele for me!

    Choice 1 is the Tele.
Choice 2 the Les Paul, but only as it has P90s else it'd be joint third with the Strat - I don't get on with humbuckers....
Strat comes third... I'm not a fan of Strats, not sure why but they just don't gel...

This would have made for a good poll. My opinion? The Epi '56 LP Pro. When it comes to electric guitar, I'm a tele guy first and foremost. That said, I already have 4 teles, with differing pickup configurations/brands in each. And I wouldn't have anything with Seymour Duncans, so the tele option in this case isn't for me. And while I have a tele with a P-90 in the neck, I don't have a guitar with dual P-90s. So that'd be my choice.

I agree. I thought of making it into a poll format, but I'm a big dummy when it comes to that stuff. So I didn't know how to do it.

I don't know enough about playing or how each would sound. However, I'd probably give the Epiphone a go first as I do like the noise from P90s (got some on my Hamer) a lot.....

For someone like me who owns 14 Fender Strats, it's a no brainer.

    Strat for the WIN!!!!
