My question was rhetorical, of course. You ask me to pick from three different tools, I'm asking you, in return, what the job is. Because it makes a difference

The Epi through the Les Lius, into the amp.

1 year ago it would have been the Tele but after almost 50 years of playing I'm really getting into whammy bars lately so I'll have to go with the Strat.

I understand that. But part of the game, so to speak, is that it's just for fun. Build what you want to build.

This equation, I believe, is so certain, so incontrovertible, that it will soon be called "Tex's Law."

Professor, I'm guessing since you just happen to have a photo of all three choices together that they are yours, in which case I choose not to choose.
I've made it a rule to never offer up my honest opinions or pass judgement on another's gear.
    Nice gear!

Ok, that's cool. But you don't have to like any of them!

Les Paul, as it's the only one with a rosewood board.

In reality - none of them !

Not a massive fan of Les Pauls unless they're Juniors but I'd have to go for the Epiphone just for the P90s..as far as I'm concerned, anything else just isn't..well..a P90!!! :D

First choice would be the LP
Second choice would be the Strat

    The Tele, because I don't yet have a 6-string Tele. :)

The LP, I don't have anything like it..and I'm kinda gassin for some P90 lately.... Have the other 's covered for the most part and strats don't interest me much...
The Tele would be my second choice of course. It sounds like a pretty good rig..

Wanna try before i play either but my 56 epi pro is a gem and letting 2 people try mine meant they bought straight away

Different pickups make a massive difference. 50s baja good, 60s perfect for me. I don't know the pickups you say for the fsr so blind jump is the lp
