Not young but I did overlook the " tea for the tillerman refrrence. Lol....not young just a fairly old reference....I'm 67.... The daggerboard is fiberglass....heavier than wood...
I bought this 26' MacGregor boat last year....never sailed aday in my life but have always been enamored of the romance of sailing......I took a day lesson last year in preparation of this summer sailing season..... I am now very comfortable with light to moderate winds.......and yes it is everything I had hoped for. I'm in the process of small mods and the new tiller is one. The original was 5' long for some reason so I made this one and it will be much easier to sail with...
