You're welcome Ullrich and more participation would be great .I don't know if we should allow all the backing tracks to be downloadable from the start . I know it would be difficult to comment on someone track without having completing their own but it wouldn't make it so regimental and it would allow anyone to jump in at anytime at their own convenience .

I'm curious on everyone's opinion on this , thanks

I'd like to hear the opinions of the many people who obviously follow these threads every month but don't participate. I'd love to see more people participating, the more the merrier in fact. So what's stopping you all? Please let us know. :)

    So I am the first?

As we have a holiday today, I had the opportunity to record something. The last days were very busy, though, so it´s just a little noodling.

The main guitar on the left is my new American Standard through the clean mode of the Mesa; on the right you can hear my latest gear acquisition syndrom symptom, a Fender Custom Telecaster FMT RW Amber, same clean mode.

Hope you have a little fun.

Country boy Ullrich pops up again! I like the bright guitar I don’t think you needed the other track.

Wow Ullrich very nice I think we have some similarities with our tracks in style . I love your multiple guitar tracks they all fit very nice together and I think it helps the bt be more country sounding for the style you're playing. I enjoyed it very much.

By the way the GAS is strong in you ,congrats on your new guitar.

Very nice Mark . I love the country blues style that used on this track, very nicely played and very enjoyable to listen too but I wish it was little longer track cause I was really liking what you were playing .

Yes indeed. You also took the twangy way, and did so well. The style of the bt just forced me in that direction. Before I started, I just listened to Lynyrd Skynyrd, but somehow their style didn´t seem to fit here.

Mjark, maybe you are right with the second guitar; I don´t think it it is superfluous, but it is little more in the foreground than I wanted it to be.

Mike, regarding the GAS: it was a long and interesting way I took the last years. It started with the mexican Tele, which gave me the insight that a Tele is the guitar that suits me. I then bought different Tele models (as well as Les Paul Studio and a Player Deluxe Strat) for the diversity of sounds. I also tried different amps. Now I have found my sound. The 2014 Standard Tele became definitely my number one in combination with the Mesa. I will not separate from the Deluxe tele. The 2010 Standard is a very good guitar, and I will keep it, but will change at least the bridge pu (when I found out which one would be an enrichment). I will let go the Cabronita, it gives me nothing special soundwise.

I also will sell the Strat, this guitar doesn´t want to be played by me. The Les Paul is locked away for months; it is not easy to play on that one, and the pus were so much louder, couldn´t play that guitar with the same amp settings.

But I wanted some humbucker sound, and so I tried that FMT Tele. Though it is built a little different from the usual Tele, it feels familiar, it´s sound is classic humbucker but not too powerful. I can just plug it in and have not to change any amp settings.

Thank you all for listening and commenting.

Mark, you were right. I just made another mix with the slide guitar more in the background, the lead guitar more prominent. That just sounds better. It would be even better if I only played chords on the slide. And without slide, you don´t miss it.
