I saw him last fall, solo show. Awesome.

His stories between songs are worth the price of admission alone. The man's a treasure.

I've seen him live. Gets enough musical energy going to run acoupla power plants.

My favorite album of his is Wicked Grin. Produced by Tom Waits. Mostly covers of Waits' material. It's a different vibe than lots of his other music IMHO.

I saw him around '68 in Philly opening for Janis Joplin and BB and the Holding Co. He put on a great show; amazing guitar player.

Saw him open for JJ Cale in the eighties. Felt sorry for JJ having to follow him on...

They were both great,, but previously I had no idea how good Hammond is..

    cheers, RM

I saw him maybe 14 or 15 years ago and he played a bunch of Tom Waits stuff. The person I was with had bought the tickets and if I had been alone I would have left.

I saw Jerry Lee Louis live other that bad mouthing berkeley making degrading homophobic comments there was a thead bare burnt out performer propped up like a cardboard cut out , yeah it happens, sad. Bo Diddley was so embarrassing we left both jerry lee and bo were singer that I grew up listening to.

    Who is Jerry Lee Louis?

Once I got hired to back Bo Didley on a Tuesday night. This was in the 90s. I had to introduce him as 'The Magnificent Bo Didley' or something like that but it was cool to say I played with him. He was nice to us, too. Backed Chuck Berry once and despite all the stories he was very cordial.

I saw him with Little Charlie and the Nightcats, great show, especially when they played together.
