that's right, John 5 is doing so unusual things with his tele. he has ON/OFF Kill Button between the volume and tone nobs
not his heavy heavy molten guitar stuff or his nashville chicken picken,
EXPERIMENTAL is what I'd call it. Check it out .

I'll try some of that out. Don't know when I would use it, but I'll try it. Expect to hear on the new Rob Zombie or a solo record.

That went way over my head. Huh?
I think he is an amazing player, I am glad that he can make a living as an artist, and you watch some day those completely stock Squier Gold John 5 guitars are going to be very valuable.

^^ Buckethead is a crazy talented guitarist-a genius of theory. He also is an eccentric that rubs some people the wrong way- and his music is also difficult for many to appreciate.

I think so too & I love that gold tele. I've wanted one since they came out.

Buckethead is a guitarist that's been using the kill switch since forever. Their styles are pretty similar too. I'd think living in the Bay you'd know who he is since he has ties to Les Claypool.

I was at this show. I used to live in Oakland up to '14. Great name chemobrain.

chemobrain is in fact where I live now, just a reminder about why I feel and think like I've taken a mind altering substance.
Regarding Bucket Head and Les Claypool, I don't get out much. Though Primus Is very amazing
no gold tele for me until I have a 1964 gold caddie el dirado in the driveway.

Tom Morello was a big fan of the momentary kill switch. He's probably more famous for his use of a Whammy pedal but a ton of his signature riffs are all kill switch.

That is a good performance- I think I saw buckethead 3-4 times in the late ninties/early 2000s. It's always fun.

People act like this kill switch thing is new. I was doing it in high school using my toggle switch. Kill switch just makes it a little easier.
