Mark, Your wish is my command :)

Can it be possible?! I am the first to post a track?? The new year starts with a surprise:)

Well, my (grand-) children have left about noon, and now that the remains of champaign, Old Salt Rum and "Basaltfeuer" had left my brain, I started to work on the country track. It is no one shot track, but I recorded it in steps pretty spontaniously, letting minor flaws in. I had fun plaing that, I hope you will have fun, too, listening.

That's some really good country playing Ullrich! Lots of good double stops and pitch bends on this track to say that country music is your forte and your gear is perfect for this track. Nicely done!

I think Mark was eagerly waiting for you do this track since he sent to me to me in November , he was correct to think that!

Nicely done Mark! I like the effect that you used but I can't make out if it's wah or something else like that.

Well I think there's interest on this country track, 7 downloads so for

Thanks. It's a slow mono phaser. I copied the guitar track, one is clean with a light reverb and the other has the phaser.

All-clear; it was a problem with my browser. Your playing had a folk-style, that fitted well to the track. The use of the phaser was a surprise, it settled a kind of alienation.

My attempt at country. Had some fun with the mix. This was the best out of a bunch of takes. Certainly some bends in wrong places and a couple clam notes here and there. I played this with a LP Classic into my HD500 POD setup as a Class A 15 with a 1x12 Blue Bell Cab played through my DT50 amp. Went in clean and added some room reverb, a little delay and some chorus. Went back and listened to Ulrich's and Marks, both really nice, especially Ulrich's.
