    98º to 8º.

    -1º tonight.

    Jus' sayin'.

Humans and flat tops accrue a certain amount of excess wear with such huge temp swings...

Words fail me. When I used to go to Racine on business in the winter, I found out once and for all that I am a sunshine lad. I truly don't understand the attraction of living in cold weather. I have plans to go golfing on Thursday, it's projected to be 61 and sunny. That sounds cold to me.

-27C last nite. Todays high -21C. We won't see even close to reasonable temps for another 48 hrs. The only thing I'm listening to today, is my compressor blowing warm air down the waterline to see if I can thaw it out. Stupid low temperatures and having no water sucks!

How people can love winter is beyond my comprehension. End of rant...

I never loved winter but I didn’t mind it.

Now I hate it. Old age and a love of shorts and being outside.

And we’ve had an extremely easy/light winter so far. Basically only a trace of snow in December and we only got maybe 4” yesterday . Temps have been above normal too.

    Until now...

Just bought 2 new humidifiers. I love baseboard heat but humidification is crucial .

-15 here with a bitter north wind. The only one who enjoyed the dog-walk today was the dog.

Yes, I much prefer, rattlesnakes, black widows, scorpions, half the critters in Australia are trying to kill you, brush fires, mudslides, etc.
To a little snow and cold LOL

Yeah, when you put it that way, I can't complain. BBQ-ing on the back deck now, -18, got my work lights lighting up the grill. Winter's not so bad. :)

But yes we get the 90 degrees (American degrees) difference between winter and summer.
