...To Kill A Mockingbird - 'It gave me no useful tips on the killing of Mockingbirds.' (Homer J. Simpson). Sorry, couldn't resist! Seriously, now, A ghastly 70s Agatha Christie film adaptation 'Endless Sleep', with Hywel Bennett.

Which TV theme tune do you hate the most?
This may not make much sense to non-UK members, but for me, the funeral dirge that is the theme to the Godawful soap 'Coronation Street'.
    And your favourite?
Mine are a tie between Lalo Schiffrin's timeless opening music to the 'Mission Impossible' TV series - not the crap film version, and Barry Gray's wonderful 'Thunderbirds' march.

Favourite tv theme: so many great ones. Barney miller, and the theme to better call Saul currently.

    Least favourite: some stupid cartoon.

Do you still own a tv or have you gone digital and stream everything on your device?

    Within 25 miles.

What place do you consider "home“, and is it your current location or elsewhere?

So many. Probably spending time with mum when she wasn't cranky or dad. Playing with cousins. Or mucking round with friends. Or not arguing with my sister.

Did you get to do what you wanted to be when you grew up?

    Yup!
I'm a working musician, and that was the plan.
Do you play music with friends just for the joy of it?
    I do.

Yes, when life permits. It's so much fun it should be illegal.

Do you think the penalties for using a mobile phone while driving are serious enough? Or too serious? In the UK, not serious enough in my view - on the day stricter rules came into place, I saw dozens of people driving and using (phones, that is!). I think it should be an instant, roadside ban for at least a year, £1000 fine and the offender's car either sold (if it's worth anything) and the profits given to victims of said crime (and there's a lot of them), or crushed if it's a 'banger'. That ought to do it.

Never understood how using a hands free device to dial and talk is any different than singing to the radio or talking to someone else in the car. If you are texting or doing something stupid, there are already laws on the books for that. I use my phone hands free (dial and speak) through bluetooth everyday. If you want to crack down on devices that distract drivers then ban dash mounted dvd and wifi screen equiped stereos.
I got in the car with a guy at work who waited until we were on the hiway to deploy the screen in his stereo to show me a youtube video!!!!
Hands free phones, are not a problem IMO.

Are you addicted to your phone or iPad? I am.

    Uh, guilty as charged, sir.
What is your #1 duty required of said device?

Not sure there's a number one. My phone is - tragically - a constant companion, used for (in no particular order):

    Listening to music
Watching videos (YouTube, Netflix, Amazon, BBC, Channel 4)
    Web browsing
    Taking photos
    Listening to the radio/podcasts
    Reading the news
    Social media (TDPRI, Instagram, Facebook)
    Gaming
    Measuring physical activity (Nike fit)
    Shopping
    Navigation
    Travel
Recommendations for places to stay, eat (foursquare, TripAdvisor)

    Sigh...

App that gets used the most? Instagram and Google Play Music for me...

No. I am at home, in my "off" time.

When the rain comes, do you run and hide your head?
