After 14 pages of "interesting rock facts", I'm almost certain that somebody has stated that:
    1. All members of the band Queen are well educated: they all had college degrees. The same can be said of Tom Scholz of the band "Boston".
    2. Michael Nesmith and Peter Tork of The Monkees were actual musicians during their TV show run. Davy Jones and Micky Dolenz were actors "playing" musicians.
    3. Speaking of Peter Tork, before he got the job with The Monkees, he was a musician in the folk-music circuit...along with John Denver.
    4. Speaking of Davy "David" Jones, David Bowie's real name IS David Jones! He just had to change his last name so people won't confuse him with "Davy Jones".

So is Alex Van Halen. Speaking of Van Halen, when Michael Anthony was with the band with either singers, he was and is the only one who hasn't been divorced.

Everyone knows the sense of humor Joe Walsh has...but Kinky Friedman DID try to run for Governor for the state of Texas a few years ago.

Speaking of "Vinnie Vincent" Cusano...way before "Joanie loves Chachi":

The same can be said of Michael Sweet of Stryper.

    Not really "Rock" facts, but...

Bruce Johnston of the Beach Boys wrote "I write the songs". Barry Manilow made it famous...and speaking of Barry:

And though Steve Martin is quite the comedian, he's also quite an accomplished banjo player:

That's not really true. Dolenz had been playing guitar in bands and Jones was a professional singer/actor who had already released a solo album. Furthermore, Dolenz did time behind the drum kit on tour and played on the entirety of the "Headquarters" album.

Checking on wikipedia, I stand corrected on Davy Jones' music bio. At the same time, Michael "Micky" Dolenz was hired to "play drums" for their TV show. But, yes, he played guitar and sang.

    I stand corrected.

The Zodiacal Dustcloud sounds like a good name for a band
