Cool looking guitar! Not sure if it's the sticker but it reminds me of an old WWII fighter plane (a good thing).

    Less than $200? Amazing.

These pickups are really amazingly good. I'd read lots of reviews saying that, and I chalked it up to fake shills, but they are really great, hot humbuckers

    Rock it, my friend!

    Nice deal, too.

  9. Congrats and a great buy. A bird fan here - I actually wish mine had humbuckers instead of the standard F-Bird pickups.. but love the guitar, just limited when I can use it as the neck is so long and always gets in the way!

Dude - I have 3 electrics and my bandmates are always on me about how "many" guitars I have, and how can I expect the mix to stay the same when I'm "constantly" bringing a different guitar. OK, for awhile there was some truth to that but now they all are Gibson style with 'buckers or p90s. Do you just roll with a more tolerant group of bandmates? Neat find. Love the sticker. I think it provides some visual balance to what is otherwise and awfully vast piece of real-estate.

No, certain of them are very picky about what I bring into the sonic landscape. Which, you'd think that'd be my choice, right? I mean, I wouldn't tell anyone else they can't use this or that.

Really I think they are gonna like the sound of this, though.

Ha - when I do get a new guitar, I'm maniacal about bringing it to rehearsal right away. Rip off the bandaid and take the abuse, then move on . . .

ME TOO. Thing is, we had rehearsal Wed night, I got this yesterday (Thursday), and we are gigging tomorrow night. So, I can either wait until next practice, which is who KNOWS when , at this point, or just take it to the gig, along with my trusty old #1 Dillion LPJR copy.

I also have my two new Cozarts to try out with the band!

The gig is tonight, and although the Spider sounds great through some rigs, it doesn't sound so great through the presets of the rig I'll be using tonight. That is my Mustang III, for portability reasons. I'm sure I can dial in some settings where it does sound great on the MIII, but I just lack the time for that. So the gigging with it will have to wait.

    Cool lookin' business-like guitar!

My "tribes" have strong opinions on what guitars I play, too!
