If "They" could drop you off in a Century/Decade and leave you forever, which would it be?

I think I’ll stay here until I die or Jesus comes back. I don’t want to miss forever with Him.

Besides this is the best time to be a guitarist in terms of equipment and access to a wide variety of music.

Do I get to choose *where* as well as *when*? Do I have control over the body I'm given? Will I retain my memories? (That might cause me to run out and make some bets and buy some stock.)

If I went back in time, okay, a lot farther than say yesterday, would that mean I would only have one monitor on my desk? Sheesh, I don't wanna go barbaric or anything.

Well, they dropped me off about halfway thru the last one...I really can't complain. Now, if they offered the option of a 1967 re-drop as a 10-yr old with current memories intact...

Jesus tried to come back but ICE got him and sent him to Mexico City.

A leetle accent can change the whole meaning of a statement, right?

Since we can't go back, bring back those old Beauties adorned with our modern touches!
They wouldn't be able to build them fast enough!!

Well, having had my life, and my kids' lives, saved by modern medicine several times now, that's a tough one. Can I take a pharmacy, hospital, and modern lab with me? And coffee--can't leave home without it.

    Three, for me.

    1) Before even Native Americans were in what would be America. To see it all unspoiled, untouched.... So...20,000 years ago? Right after the last Ice Age behaved itself.

    2) The 1880s or so. Yes, tons of problems and systemic evils. But the Victorian houses, travel by railroad, the manners (if, sadly, you were the "right" race, etc.), the musing pace and slow peace, the vibrancy in the cities and experimenting laboratories and tinkerers' shops, the hopefulness.
    (Plot spoilers!)

    3) The '50s. Yes, the Bomb menaces. DDT, wastefulness, gluttony, etc. But the cars! Ebbets Field, the Polo Grounds, Shibe Park, Forbes Field, the original Yankee Stadium, Griffith Stadium, Sportsman Park, Briggs Stadium--all intact, functioning, cherished. Cities, still functioning. Jobs that put you into the middle class. Some manners, lots of hopefulness (despite that pesky Bomb), and...the cars! And this guy named Leo out West.....

..that's a fine looking dog. Ours was a cattle dog/German short hair mix, near as we could tell.

We had a tuner back in ‘68. It was called a Marine Band harmonica.
