56F6867B-9C4C-474B-91C3-49E9741BBABB.jpeg Stopped by my local GC on the way home from work hoping to find a small 112 cab used. No luck so I wandered over to the new stuff and what did I find? The brand new Kotzen Tele I’ve been drooling over at $1500 marked down to $1200. Never ever did I think I’d be able to own one of these but now I do!

Congrats! I'm sure I'd like the pickup combination, I know I like the Twang King neck pup. I have a BSB with a 4-way switch for the series/parallel pickup configurations, and I really like that. That rotary series/parallel switch accomplishes the same thing. I wonder about the neck though. Kotzen has described himself as being "built like an ape" with big hands, and so the neck is chunky so when he grabs hold of it, it "feels like I've got something." I like a Medium C neck myself, maybe a chunky C. How does it feel to you?

Haven’t weighed it yet but it’s heavy like all Kotzen Teles.

    That's gorgeous, congratulations!

Reminds me of the first-generation Tuff Dog, before the version with the Thinline type pickguard came out.
