I think they both look great. Now you have two guitars.
Yeah, the tort was necessary.
It looks military but you can go further. One ply black guard and black hardware, even military stickers.
Love that color green!
I also think a pearly pickguard would look cool with it
Go for the red tort (pimento) to make it an olivecaster.
I liked the highly unusual green on green myself.
a matter of taste... I liked it with the mint one...
Better than the mint but I’d have gone with black
I like it. Good choice...
I agree, 100%. If I had to choose between the two, then I'd go with the mint green 'guard, but...
I bet a gloss black 'guard would look sick on that slab, too.
Green Teles are dream Teles.
Beautiful ! Suits very well the fretboard's color. How fat is the neck ? Looks good ...
I trend towards the Mint also, and I wonder if the Mint got a fair depiction in photos. I also think with the stock bridge, you need the MG guard.
But this is one of the better guitar colors to use with the right Tort pickguard. Except, now the guitar won't be complete without a Leo style AV52 bridge plate and some slight slant Fender brass saddles from Darren Riley!
Now, I'm going back to eating my breakfast avocado. :^)
I'm not a tortoise fan, generally speaking, BUT even I like the look!
Looks nice. I am starting to think I need a green guitar as well.
Looks great either way, nice guitar.Love the color...Im considering an anodized gold pick guard for my candy green tele build.
