Not a town but there is a pasty/ice cream place a couple of towns over from me called "gay's creamery" and in the same town a bike shop called "braking wind"
I used to live in Hicksville, NY, but now I live in Longwood, FL.
Near here (Southern New Jersey), roads are named after the towns they go to. Here's just a few odd balls:

Cumming, GA. They have signs when you're ten miles from Cumming. Why not 10 minutes from Cumming?
