How's this for a tele jazz tone?

Just ordered a couple of VV Charlie Christians for one of my Teles. Can't wait to put them on. Will post pic when done.

maxvintage, thanks for posting your sound clip of the VV CC-Rider.

I know I am late to the topic (but I am a newer tele owner), but do you still like your CC-Rider pickup?

Also, the Avalon sounded great. I need to get one now myself.

Anyway, thanks again for posting. I think that I will be jumping into the VV CC-Rider pool as well. I have a reissue Tele Custom '72. I love the neck, hate the pickups. Looking to jazz it up a bit. Hopefully the new pickups will help.

    Regards,

    Liam

I`ve got a Vintage Vibe CC pick up in my parts bin.
Great to hear a soundclip of it.
Just gotta finish my partscaster with a P 90 in neck position and then start with the CC
    jazzcaster!

That clip is great, maxvintage! Those pickups...well, that guitar sounds really nice and the playing is terrific. Thanks for posting!

Thats beautiful.....is that the same type of pickup Barney Kessel used in his jazzer?
