How to Relic Metal Parts? How to pit Chrome?

    Browning and Pitting

    Try some Gun Browning. Get it from any source that carries Gun Bluing.
    Use a test area, or something like a piece of yard sale junk to experiment.
    I picked up pluming w/chrome surface first.
    Browning works really fast, so read all the instructions and experiment first.
    For pitting just think of some simple science;
    Any metal that has a higher density than the Guitar parts (Metal Density) will work. Spring loaded punch for a Metal Shop thats likley older, or 1st Quality
    works. Mine was handed down. Tip; Use a really flat surface for Bridge
    plates and don't bend it. Hope this helps, it's a great way to rid the chrome off and get into the metal surface. Then there are a number of options actualy. Sevren.
