YMMV, of course . . .
Does the case candy include a pair of tweezers?
While it is interesting, I'm not a fan of nearly anything California.
I was going to concerts at the Bowl back in the '60's & 70's......Lived at an apartment back around '80-'81 where we had to park in the Bowl parking lot except for on concert nights. So somebody is probably going to buy a guitar that my ass has been on. Caveat emptor.......
It looks like Fender is getting into the home built guitars business. Or something like that.
I think I farted on that seat during the playboy jazz festival
GFS Earl Slick look
Is the Vintage chewing gum from the underside of the seat included ?
From the last thread:
Hmmm... a bit misleading as to the age of the benches. Not that it matters to someone that would pay 12k for scrap.
Apparently Alaskan Yellow Cedar left out to rot from 1981 is now 12k tonewood...
"The bench seats they tore out in 2014 (which I assume these are) were installed in 1981"
"A full replacement of the bench seating at the Hollywood Bowl last occurred in 1981, and before that in 1958. The original 1922 seats were replaced in 1958."
Meh. Rick Kelly at Carmine Street in NYC will make you a better guitar, by hand, with wood from the Chelsea Hotel for a fraction of the price.
They'll probably sell 10 or 11 to movie stars.
I think it's pretty cool. Not 12K-cool though.
Cool! But not enough for that price.
