I hope this is OK to post.
Nothing here is for sale, just information.

For those of you interested, I have been collecting and cataloging all of the different variations of the Big Muff for years and I will be making one of every schematic of the Big Muff that I have from 1969-1984 plus the Russians.
There are over a 100 to do and I will be writing a blog about each one, what makes them special and what they sound like.
At the end there will be an online video comparing the best ones from each year.
You can find the blog here:

    I hope you enjoy it.

Very nice. I'd like to offer a suggestion. How' bout some photos of the originals, maybe even pictures of the insides, if possible.
Sound clips would also make this even better still.

Am I missing something? When I open it, there is no information.

This is a fantastic idea! Thanks for doing this and for letting us know about it here. When you're done, it will be essential reading for anyone interested in the Big Muff in all its variations.

P.S. The blog link worked for me.

Very cool, I've visited a couple of thorough and not-so-thorough sites on the muff, but this goes the extra level.

    From my understanding....

Thanks for taking the time to take on this massive project. I didn't know there were so many versions.

I used to have a "Big Muff" (one of the really big non-footpedal-type) and I wish I still had that pedal!!! I loved the fuzz effect on that pedal!!! One day, it just up and quit on me. :(

It has been a while since I have come across a Big Muff that I haven’t seen before but I found a Triangle made with Germanium Diodes.
After careful examination, this is definitely all original.
I will be making one up and comparing it with the original and posting my findings.

If anyone out there has an original Triangle or Ram’s Head, I would appreciate some gut shots of it.
If it turns out your pedal is one I have never seen before, when I make one for my blog I will make you one as well at no cost.
