    Happened again this morning.

This only happens on the TDPRI site. I'm poking along, reading through posts and - without warning - I get whisked away to one of those pop-up filled sites where they tell you your computer is filled with bad stuff and is going to die, etc if you don't click on their solution NOW. The new site - in the same browser window BTW as TDPRI, am not getting forwarded to a new window - will not let me close the window, so I open Task Manager and shut down all MS Edge operations. I run a security scan. Nothing so far thankfully is found. I clear the cache of everything. Acoupla days later it happens again. And, again, on no other site but TDPRI.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

I've had it a few times I think. But my browser blocks the site. And let's me click a box to come back here.

What virus protection do you have? Can you have it do a thorough scan for bad cookies?

I haven't had that happen but now and then pages won't load and the site drops out until I backspace and refresh or click on another option.

I haven't seen that happen on any site, on any computer, in like ten years.

Never ever seen anything even close to resembling anything like that, here or anywhere

It just started happening very recently, for me.
I get it from my local news websites.

Something's going on. I keep gettimg booted off to a site that tells me I've won a prize worth £977.00. This is on my phone. Shutting down the browser os the only way out of it.

If you're on a phone just close it. Then go to different page, you know the little square you can click that shows all your open stuff ? Click that and you'll see that pesky page still there. Click it off there or it will keep popping up

If you're browsing with Firefox or Chrome, install the extensions uBlock Origin and NoScript. You will have no more of that.

Random1643 .... Yes, getting exactly the same thing and only when logged in to tdpri.
My AV (even after the deepest scan it does) also reports no problems, only happens on Win10 PC using Edge ... Doesn't happen on Android tablet or phone.

Mind you as a scam it is hilarious....the "warning comment" about you must click here to upgrade Windows now .... Then goes on stating something like " don't close this window until you haven't updated Windows"
So I'm guessing not an official message out of Redmond! ;)

41144, this may be significant that we're both using PCs running Windows 10 & Edge browser. And I have no issues with TDPRI site on my Android phone. I'm gonna try using Internet Explorer or Chrome for a while and see what happens on TDPRI.

Malware, redirect viruses are quite common. I had one a couple of years ago, and tried just about every software fix there was, and failed EVERY TIME. At least it wasn't destructive, just incredibly annoying. I finally bit the bullet, and just did a complete reformat, and reinstall of everything, (it took like 6 hours to complete), and voila! no more redirects, or pop-ups. (until next time...LOL)

P.S. This was on my PC, running Windows 10, and mine always seemed to happen at the same site also...I forget now which one it was.

Malware redirects like you describe generally come from ads served on the page. Download a good adblocker.

Okay, am running Chrome now. Will see if it makes a difference. Will check Ad Blocker status, Mexitele; good idea.
