Well, Hershey pulled through the surgery fine and gets to come home this afternoon. We still don't know what's wrong with him, but his liver biopsy will be sent off to Ft. Collins, CO and we'll know more next week.

Thanks for all the good thoughts and comments.
    Thanks

Paul, sure hope he gets alright. I know you can get pretty attached to dogs, almost like one of the family.

Hope he comes home healthy and happy!!! As much as our two cats (Scruggs & Mingus) run around here like someone spiked their food with espresso beans, I'd be crushed if they got sick!! (Even when Scruggs got stuck in the soundhole of my Accoustic!! Never change strings around a cat!!!)
    ...my best to you both,
    ....love the new page

Hershey is in my prayers bud, without dogs, men would be much less.

Dear Paul: very sorry to hear about Hershey. I shall pass this
information on to the neighborhood canine community. Also,
my neighbor has a 10 year old, 40 lb. mixed breed. He was
diagnosed with a bowel obstruction. This would kill him. He had
major abdominal surgery and is as good as new. Good luck
    to all.
