A friend of mine bought this thing at an estate sale for $25 and it's in pieces with half the parts missing! It's a 1954 harmony h-44 stratotone

Gonna have to refinish the entire thing, but I have got to source some parts (he want it original) that will fit. Things I need:

    Bridge (one side is broken)
    Tailpiece (It's super short!)
    Tuners
Switch (I'm guessing a jazzmater might work)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

And if you want it original, don't be so quick to think you have to refinish it!

    But what do I know?

    No photos yet--remember?

I've already sprayed a primer/sealer buddy, whoever had it must have sanded it with 80 grit cause now I gotta go get some high build primer to cover scratches. This after I sanded it before primer to 600 grit. Thing was in bad shape

Well I know this is old but I finally finished this, my friend is well pleased. I give myself a b+ it isn't perfect but it sounds amazing!

Very nicely done....reminds me of California blues master Junior Watson....great guitar! Do you know Dan Dunham, California luthier who specializes in these guitars? Dan basically rebuilt Junior's favorite Harmony and builds very fine replicas.

I've been jonesing for one of those, but can't pony up the current prices!
This was a lot less and puts me well in the ballpark.
